Launch of a multi-sensory room at APDA

MCB Group, through MCB Forward Foundation (MCBFF), has brought financial support to APDA during the last three years. This has enabled the NGO to set up new facilities for the hearing-impaired. They will therefore be able to use this room to make tangible progress.

 

The contribution of MCBFF amounted to nearly Rs. 1.5 million this year, including Rs. 690,000 for the creation of this multi-sensory room. The support of MCBFF was not limited to this room; it has also ensured that key people at APDA, comprising specialised educators, therapists and a psychologist, were able to work in proper conditions.
